How to the Two Handed Interception in Cricket

The two handed interception is very closely linked to the one hand intercept but is usually used when fielding a quicker hit ball or a ball slightly further away from the stumps.

Steps

1- Attack the ball. When doing this skill you should always attack the ball.

2- Face the direction you want the ball to go. Attack the ball front-on, with your body facing the direction you would want the ball to travel.

3- Cup your hands. Watch the ball as you attack and then lower both hands down into a cup shape when coming to the ball.

4- Lead with your strong hand. As you pick up the ball place it into your stronger hand. As you throw your non-throwing arm acts as a guide.

5- Raise you arm towards release. The arm raises from beside your waist and goes upwards on release.

6- Follow through towards the stumps. Aim for the top of the stumps and follow through with forward raise action.
